Based on the Capital Market Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/30) dated 06/02/1424 AH, its implementing regulations, and the Financial Technology Experimental Permit instructions issued by the Board of the Capital Market Authority, The Capital Market Authority announces that Emkan Alarabiya Company has completed the commencement of business requirements to experiment the Financial Technology permit in relation to test Offering and Investment in Debt Instruments pursuant to the decision of CMA's Board of Directors dated 10/05/2023G.

In accordance to the revision made to the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS), the Saudi Exchange announces updating the names of three Industry Groups (Level - 2) and the reclassification of some listed companies in the Main Market and the Parallel Market (NOMU), effective from the start of trading on Sunday, 10/12/2023. The update in the industry groups (Level - 2) includes the following: - Rename of the “Retailing” industry group to “Consumer Discretionary Distribution & Retail” - Rename of the “Food & Staples Retailing” industry group to “Consumer Staples Distribution & Retail”. - Rename of the “Diversified Financials” industry group to “Financial Services”. Fourteen companies have been reclassified (six companies in the Main Market and eight companies in the Parallel Market), as follows: Main Market: 1. Transfer of Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes Co. (SVCP) to Materials sector - Level 1 / Materials Industry Group - Level 2. 2. Transfer of Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker Co. (SHAKER) to Industrials sector - Level 1 / Capital Goods Industry Group - Level 2. 3. Transfer of Sinad Holding Co. (SINAD HOLDING) to Consumer Staples sector - Level 1 / Food & Beverages Industry Group - Level 2. 4. Transfer of BATIC Investments and Logistics Co. (BATIC) to Capital Goods Industry Group - Level 2. 5. Transfer of AMLAK International Finance Co. (AMLAK) to Financial Services Industry Group - Level 2. 6. Transfer of SHL Finance Co. In reference to Dur Hospitality Co. announcement on the Saudi Exchange website on 19/05/1445H corresponding to 03/12/2023G regarding the Company's EGM approval of the offer submitted by Taiba Investments Co to acquire shares of Dur Hospitality Co. shareholders through securities exchange offer. The Saudi Exchange announces the trading suspension on Dur Hospitality Co. shares in the Saudi Stock Exchange starting today Sunday 19/05/1445H corresponding to 03/12/2023G to commence delisting procedures of the company’s shares. Furthermore, the Securities Depository Center (Edaa) will announce the implementation of the increase in the quantity of Taiba Investments Co shares and the deposit of the new shares in the Center’s Accounts of all eligible Dur Hospitality Co shareholders after two business days from the Company's EGM approval and up to 6 business days as per The Exchange and Center Procedures.
